Collection: Rope & Leather Leads

Our collaboration with the Master Ropemakers at The Historic Dockyard, Chatham. 

These beautiful dog leads are made in Chatham organic hemp rope, made on the Victorian ropewalk, which is where the BBC/s Call The Midwife is filmed! You can even visit The Historic Dockyard to watch it being made, and take in a warship or two at the same time.

The rope is then whipped into our lead by the Master Ropemakers. We then take over and add either a leather handle or beautifully debossed leather whipping cover fobs.

It is a fantastically strong lead, available in 2 strengths - skinny or chunky. Fantastic for dogs who like to hold their leads in their mouths or have a tendency to chew. But please bear in mind, nothing is indestructable. Even historic Royal Navy rope!
